Intro: Creative Circle is the largest creative/design staffing agency in the U.S. How to hire in Creative Circle: We get in touch with Alexa Kornemann (AKornemann@creativecircle.com) and she, in turn, sends us candidates. When Creative Circle is used: Creative Circle is mainly used for staffing professionals. Their in-built categories are:

  2. Copywriting/Editing

  3. Leadership Positions

  4. Marketing

  5. Motion/Video

  6. Project Management

  7. Design/Art Direction

  8. Development

  9. Account Service

  10. User Experience

How Creative Circle works: Creative Circle is a staffing agency and has a tie-up with other job portals and also directly with the candidates. Cost: It is based on the number of candidates that VV hires through Creative Circle.

Indeed

  • Indeed is the first and largest aggregated search engine for employers, recruiters and jobseekers to find and post jobs online.

  • It is a free service or, for a fee, you may sponsor jobs to stay prominent and highly visible at the top of search results. Sponsored job postings are based on pay-per-click.

  • VV has a branded page on Indeed whereby applicants may apply directly through the platform and the relevant VV hiring manager will be notified via email.

Handshake

  • Handshake is a college career network and recruiting platform for college students and young alumni. VV has a branded page on the platform which is primarily used for posting internship positions.

  • VV has selected and been approved approximately 30 schools for job postings on the platform. This list of schools may be amended at any time.

  • VV also has a smaller list of “Favorite Schools” on the site that focuses the responses by applicants on mostly local schools. For summer interns, this limitation on applications may not be necessary.

Keep in mind that there are certain schools like Dartmouth and Bennington that offer work experience semesters for school credit. Such students may apply for full time internships during the school year, and VV will complete the necessary documentation for school credit.

Stanford ‘BEAM’ Fellows Internship

  • VV has a tie-in with the Stanford career education center (only for Summer internships) wherein our internship opening is posted on the school’s website, interested candidates apply through the website, and the designated VV hiring manager gets notified.
